In charge of running the National Trade Promotion Program in 2012, Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade) – Ministry of Industry and Trade organizes Vietnam-Laos Trade Fair 2012 in the Laos capital

 

In charge of running the National Trade Promotion Program in 2012, Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade) – Ministry of Industry and Trade organizes Vietnam-Laos Trade Fair 2012 in the Laos capital, Vientiane with details as follows:

1. Aim: Advertise Vietnamese images, business and brands; Increase export and market development of Vietnamese products in Laos and North East Thailand; Organize goods consuming network, develop investment projects in Laos.
2. Scale: More than 200 standard boots (9m2= 3m x 3m) in which 120 boots are allocated for 80 Vietnamese businesses and trade promotion organizations for their exhibition and introduction of goods, services.
3. Date: From 4th - 8th December, 2012.
4. Venue: International Trade Exhibition and Convention Centre (ITECC) in the Laos capital, Vientiane.
5. Transaction fields: agricultural, forestry, aqua products and processed food, garment- fashion, electric – electronic and home electric appliances, industrial machines and equipments, building and construction materials, furniture and craft, consumer goods, medicine and medical equipment, investment, traveling and trading services etc.
6. Attendance: enterprises of all economic sectors established as the law regulations, trade promotion organizations (trade promotion center of Province/ City/ Ministry/Department, Goods Association), here in after referred as business
7. Selecting category: businesses have ability of manufacturing, trading and export products with high competitive capacity; products have packaging and quality suitable to Laos market; qualified personnel attending international trade fair.
8. Costs:
  • a. Cost sponsored by Government: 100% of boot cost; 100% of overall decoration the exhibition area of Vietnamese enterprises at the fair; 100% of advertising information.
    • Note: depend on business category, each enterprise attending the program will be sponsored maximum 04 standard boots (3mx3m=9m2)
  • b. Expenditure of business:
    • 100% of passport, meals, hotels, transportation
    • 100% of product-related cost such as tax, goods deposit
    • Other expenses in case of violation of Organization Board’s regulations.
  • c. Deposit
    • Each business shall deposit 5 million VND/ 1 standard boot at the time of registration

    • In case the business on the official list fails to attend the fair for any reason after November 12, 2012 (pursuant to the date of cancel notice),the deposit will not be returned but used to pay for the sponsor fee of Government of space renting, boots, decoration and advertising.
9. Business duty
  • Complete the registration records, financial duty and comply the regulations of Organization Board.
  • Send the result report (in form) to Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency within 30 days after the fair.

Note: With registration, please send 01 soft copy of attendance record to thanhnd@vietrade.gov.vn (attach 01business logo and 02 product images to introduce on Fair Catalogue)

11. Register best before November 12, 2012. Due to the boot limit, Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency will officially inform to enterprises after the attendance list is approved.
